A good friend of mine named this picture “Seen Better Days”, and I recall those days fondly. This automobile was a beauty at one time – the top model in the Pontiac line, with a powerful V8 engine and a body size and shape that to the modern eye appears bloated and difficult to maneuver on icy roads. Pontiac sold loads of these. The Parisienne didn’t offer front-wheel or all-wheel drive. What it did have was AM-FM Radio, seat belts (seldom used), a block heater for Canadian winters, and finally, an ashtray. Everyone smoked back then.
