Welcome to my website of classic and contemporary images, where “every picture tells a story”. I am a writer and photographer based in White Rock, British Columbia. Beginning with a Pentax ME Super film camera back in 1979, I’ve assembled a large collection of film-based images. Recently I’ve discovered the Fujimfilm X-T5 and become an enthusiast of digital’s capabilities in all realms.
The site features digital colour, digital monochrome, black and white film, and colour film and colour slide images spanning more than five decades of my explorations in photography. I’ve created individual posts that tell the story behind the creation of each image. Often that story is personal, interspersed with notes on what I’ve learned about the art and science of photography. Below in the Related Posts section are links to three examples of images accompanied by personal stories.
