Why would any property owner go to the trouble of painting the back of this warehouse such a beautiful shade of blue? The lit window in the upper left corner and the up-to-date refuse bin demonstrated the premises were still in a minor state of use.
The shoreline of the Fraser River hosts dozens of logistics facilities stretching for miles: none so scenic as this blue warehouse. I had a film script in mind, but never got around to writing it. The building is gone now, but the movie stirs in my imagination whenever I contemplate this image.
