The Automobile Scrapyard, A Treasure No More

Some subjects demand to be photographed in black and white. When there is no advantage to colour there is every opportunity to work on composition.

The cherry tree is an unspoken reminder of the bond between Canada and Japan.

Its claim to fame remains though its current safety can make one long for the adventure of days gone by.

The project was completed in 2014 and was scheduled to be removed after a couple of years, but the public won’t let it go.

The building is gone now, but a movie stirs in my imagination whenever I contemplate this image.
