Inspired by the work of Walker Evans, I returned to this farmhouse for a follow-up session in black and white.

The occupation of farming is still known as “next year country”, a term that originated on the Canadian prairies.

Tracking down what this farm wagon was used for was an interesting project. Finally after online research I made a discovery.

The usual image of a church is front facing, but what captured my imagination was this view from the rear of the building.

When I received the news that my strongest competitor’s store had burned down overnight, I immediately grabbed my camera.
