Walking Across The Bridge of Life

A simple walkway across a narrow creek beckons one to cross and see what lies ahead. The most ordinary of circumstances, a deserted picnic ground out of season, lacking any drama or magnificent view, still presents possibilities for the creative artist.

Crossing a bridge, no matter how small, is a metaphor often summed up for the making of an important decision.

“Nobody can build the bridge for you to walk across the river of life, no one but you yourself alone. There is one path in the world that no one can walk but you. Where does it lead? Don’t ask, walk!” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
