The brilliance of the red, heavily clouded skies over White Rock on this recent morning lasted only a minute or two, but that was long enough for me to step outside on our balcony to capture this scene. It was 6 a.m. and I happened to look up from my morning coffee eastward to the rising sun. There was no time to grab my Fuji camera, but as they say, the best camera is the one you have with you. In this case it was my iPhone.
