Why Analog Photography? And Why Black and White?

Black and white negatives have survived centuries. The stable base outlasts every other platform including colour film and digital.

The strength of this image lies not the subject matter, but in how it is rendered with as few colours as possible.

Automatic focusing systems, such as those found on digital cameras and smartphones, have trouble producing the bokeh effect.
