A Face In The Crowd

If Art often imitates Nature, then surely the opposite is true: Nature can and does imitate Art.

This image was the result of an errant golf shot, hooked into the bushes at the Redwoods golf course.

Close inspection of the insignia on the bumper reveals identity to be that of a Pontiac Deluxe, probably from 1937.

This image was converted from colour to black and white, something that is easily done with today’s software.

Inspired by the work of Walker Evans, I returned to this farmhouse for a follow-up session in black and white.
