The occupation of farming is still known as “next year country”, a term that originated on the Canadian prairies.

The usual image of a church is front facing, but what captured my imagination was this view from the rear of the building.

The most interesting aspect of photography is that you are able to make decisions that greatly impact the result.

One sees only what would have been observed almost 300 years ago, with not a single element of modern life in sight.

Direct sunlight is the surest way to create an uninteresting picture. Try sunrise or sunset instead.
