The scenery was spectacular, the hike somewhat arduous but well worth the effort.

Navigating through the dense forest and suddenly coming to a view of the ocean was an unexpected development.

Not only do birds of a feather stick together, but it appears that starfish do as well.

On such mountain walls plant life somehow germinates, trees grow, birds build their nests, and goats and deer clamber up and down.

A merger of the old with the new resulted in a photographic metaphor illustrating the many facets of our country.
